Spring Festival is really an exciting and important holiday in China.

The Chinese New Year is based on the lunar calendar,

so it falls on a different date each year,

usually between January 21 and February 20.

People light fireworks, eat together, and wear new clothes.

We also visit and greet our elders.

During Spring Festival, we receive lucky money in red envelopes.

It's a happy and festive time when we celebrate with our family.

Everyone is very happy and wishes each other a better new year.
